Off-field distractions affecting Yuvraj’s focus, says Kapil Dev |
Yuvraj Off-field distractions affecting Yuvraj’s focus???? What Kapil Dev thinks about it read:-
Kapil said,"Yuvraj is such a brilliant player.” Kapil said “And with the experience of eight years of international cricket he should have been a permanent member of both the ODI and Test sides. But from the outside it looks to me his problems are compounded by distractions off the field too.”
Kapil revealed more: “I know no cricketer would want to perform badly but Yuvraj needs to be more focused on his game. He must realise that he is known worldwide as a cricketer first so off-the-field glamour can wait. He has the potential and if he can use the time he is away from the team setting his priorities right, he will be back very soon. He must be lamenting not getting a permanent place in the Test side but if Yuvraj is consistent with big scores, and is fully fit, how can the selectors continue to ignore him?”
